A Little About Me...

My name is Nancy Holt and I am the Lady On The Lake. I am a warm glass artist that makes lampwork beads and fused glass items. I also design my own jewelry using glass and other mediums such as wire, chainmaille and just recently beaded Kumihimo. I have been doing this for over 10 years and I have to admit...I am addicted to manipulating glass with different torches and kilns. During the past 10 years, I have accumulated 6 torches and 5 kilns of different sizes and styles. I work with soft glass and boro glass but most of my work is with Moretti. I live in East Tennessee on Tellico Lake and when I am not burning glass or working as an IT consultant I am on the water with either my jetski or tritoon. I get some of my inspiration from sitting on my dock and observing nature. I am a member of the Foothills Craft Guild here in Tennessee and a SRA member.
